Cajun Seasoning is a robust and full-bodied seasoning that combines the essentials of Cajun cuisine: onions, peppers and celery with chili peppers, pepper, garlic and a whole range of herbs.
Method of preparation and cooking
Whole spices are used in extended cooking recipes and should be added at the start of cooking to give as much flavor as possible.
Perfect with chicken, pork, fish and seafood; simply sprinkle on it or add to flour / breadcrumbs; bake, grill or fry. Add to cooked dishes, soups, jambalayas vegetables (spicy rice dish), okra (stew / soup), stir-fries and marinades. Use to make blackened chicken or fish. Use in salad dressings for bean salad, corn relish, mixed vegetables and salsa. Sprinkle over scrambled eggs, omelets, hard-stuffed hard-boiled eggs, nachos, pizza, chili or anything to give it a spicy flavor. Ground spices should be added just after cooking, as they give off their flavor quickly.
