Tandoori masala is a spicy and fragrant blend of exotic spices such as coriander, cumin, fenugreek, cayenne and cinnamon, which is specially formulated to resemble the authentic flavor of the tandoori terracotta oven in Indian cuisine.
It is traditionally mixed with yogurt, garlic and ginger to create, before cooking, a marinade for chicken, fish or lamb. It is also excellent sprinkled as a seasoning on pan-fried, grilled or roasted meats.
